Your privacy matters to us. This page explains in plain language what information Ravenwood Reiki collects, how we use it, and what your rights are. We keep this simple because we believe you deserve to understand exactly how your information is handled.
Who We Are
Ravenwood Reiki, LLC
Owner: Leslie Fitzgerald Matteucci

What Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways — directly from you, and automatically through Google Analytics.
From our contact form: When you reach out to us, we collect the following:
- Your name
- Your email address (if provided)
- Your phone number (if provided)
- Your message
- How you heard about us
- Whether you'd like to receive our newsletter (your choice)
We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and, if you've opted in, to send you occasional updates about events and offerings at Ravenwood Reiki.
You can opt out of the newsletter at any time by emailing Leslie at RavenwoodReiki@gmail.com — you will be removed promptly, no questions asked.
Newsletter updates are currently managed directly by Ravenwood Reiki. If we use an email newsletter provider in the future, your email address may be processed by that provider for the purpose of sending updates you requested.
From Google Analytics: Our website uses Google Analytics to help us understand how people find and use our site. Google Analytics may collect usage data such as which pages were visited, how long visitors stay, general geographic location at the city or region level, device/browser type, and how visitors arrived at the site. This data does not directly identify you to Ravenwood Reiki. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, message contents, or payment information to Google Analytics.
How We Use Information
We use contact-form information to respond to inquiries, communicate about services or events, manage bookings, send occasional updates if you opted in, maintain business records, and improve our offerings. We use analytics data to understand site performance, popular pages, referral sources, and how visitors navigate the site.
Service Providers
We may share information with service providers that help operate the website or business, such as Netlify for website hosting and form handling, Google Analytics for website analytics, Square or Venmo for payments, and professional advisors if needed. These providers process information according to their own privacy policies. Ravenwood Reiki does not sell personal information to any third party.
What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal information to anyone — ever.
- We do not share your information with third-party marketers or advertisers.
- We do not send unsolicited emails or texts.
How Your Information Is Stored
Contact form submissions are handled securely by Netlify, the platform that hosts this website. Netlify stores form data on encrypted servers. You can read Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com/privacy.
Website usage data is processed by Google Analytics. You can learn more about how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/privacy.
Payment Processing: For event registrations paid by card or Apple Pay, payments are processed securely by Square (Square privacy policy). For Venmo payments, transactions are processed by Venmo (Venmo privacy policy). Ravenwood Reiki never sees or stores your card numbers or banking information — all payment data is handled entirely by Square and Venmo under their own privacy policies. By making a payment you agree to the applicable terms of Square and Venmo.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep contact form submissions, event inquiries, newsletter requests, and related communications for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, manage bookings or events, provide services, maintain business records, and meet legal or accounting obligations. If you would like us to delete your information, contact us and we will honor the request unless we need to keep certain information for legitimate business, legal, tax, or recordkeeping reasons.
Security
We use reasonable measures and reputable service providers to protect information, but no website, email system, payment system, or internet transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Cookies
This site uses cookies placed by Google Analytics to distinguish unique visitors and measure site activity over time. These are analytics cookies only. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social media advertising trackers. If you dismiss the cookie notice on our site, we may store that preference in your browser's local storage so the notice does not reappear.
Do Not Track and Third-Party Tracking
Some browsers offer ‘Do Not Track’ or similar privacy signals. This site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your activity on this site over time. We do not use advertising pixels, retargeting pixels, or social media advertising trackers.
Sensitive Information
Please do not submit emergency, medical, or highly sensitive personal information through the website contact form. Ravenwood Reiki is not a medical provider, and the contact form is not intended for urgent, medical, or confidential healthcare communications. If you choose to share personal wellness information with us, we will use it only to respond to your inquiry or provide services you request.
Your California Privacy Requests
Ravenwood Reiki may not be subject to the CCPA based on its current size and data practices, but we still want to respect your privacy. California visitors may contact us to ask what personal information we have, request correction, request deletion, or ask questions about how information is used. To make a request, email us at RavenwoodReiki@gmail.com or call (408) 655-5516. We’ll respond as soon as reasonably possible, and generally within 45 days.
